The Social Park Mignone Rosenbach is a community project that brings the Oltrisarco-Aslago neighbourhood of Bolzano to life from May to October, turning Parco Mignone and Piazza Nikoletti into open meeting spaces for all generations. The project is coordinated by VKE Casagioco in collaboration with the neighbourhood council and a wide network of local associations.

The programme offers a varied range of free activities: sports such as yoga, morning exercise, walking groups and basketball for children and teenagers with Basket Club Bolzano; cultural events including puppet shows from the Blu d'estate series, children's reading sessions, concerts and music evenings; and social and creative formats such as chess tournaments, bocce, karaoke, drumming workshops, kickboxing and intergenerational gatherings.

Some evening events take place in the Sala Rosenbach at Piazza Nikoletti. In case of rain, outdoor activities move indoors; unless otherwise specified, events are cancelled.

All events are free and open to everyone without prior registration. The programme is subject to change.

From May to October, the Zentrum Social Park turns three green areas in the heart of Bolzano – the Cappuccini Garden, Berloffa Park and the Garden of Religions – into a single open meeting place. The project is coordinated by the Family, Women, Youth and Social Promotion Office of the Municipality of Bolzano and by Compagnia teatroBlu.

The programme is open to all ages and offers a wide range of free events: sports and wellness activities such as Qi Gong, yoga, family yoga, Pilates, running groups, walking groups and morning exercise sessions; as well as cultural and social initiatives including concerts, theatre performances, workshops, photography exhibitions, city festivals and open community gatherings.

Regular weekly activities include yoga, Pilates, walking and running sessions. Standalone highlights include the Streetvibe concert, the Südtirol Jazzfestival Alto Adige, the Trento Film Festival, the Living Library, a stand-up comedy evening and the BoDA festival by BolzanoDanza.

All events are free and open to everyone without prior registration. In case of bad weather, most events move to the Sala di Rappresentanza of the Municipality of Bolzano; a few events have their own specific alternative venues. The programme is subject to change.

Experience the fascinating beauty of the Dolomites on a panoramic tour.
Departure is from Völs am Schlern at 8:00 a.m., from Seis am Schlern at 8:10 a.m., and from Kastelruth at 8:20 a.m.
The route leads from Völs to Kastelruth through the charming Val Gardena, over the Sella Pass and the impressive Pordoi Pass to the Falzarego Pass, continuing on to Cortina d’Ampezzo. There, Lake Misurina awaits you, where a stop of approximately one hour is planned. You will have the opportunity to dine at a restaurant or enjoy your packed lunch while admiring the famous “Drei Zinnen”.

After the break, the journey continues through the Höhlensteintal (Val di Landro) to Bruneck (no stop) and then back to Kastelruth.

Return to Kastelruth is scheduled between 5:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Hike along the Mendel Ridge - Monte Macaion (1,774 m)

Magnificent views of the Etsch Valley

We travel by coach via Lana and the Gampen Pass to St. Felix in the Non Valley. The hike starts just above St. Felix at the "Lochmann" bridge and leads (including short, stony sections uphill) across the "Tillwiesen" meadows to the scenic summit of Schönegg (1,774 m). From there, you can enjoy stunning views of the Etsch Valley as far as Bozen and the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

After a break at the summit, we hike down to the idyllic mountain lake Lake Tret (Felixer Weiher). Following a lunch break with the option to stop at a mountain hut, the descent takes us along a forest path through woods and meadows back to the starting point, where the bus will be waiting for the return journey.

Our Packraft - Tour homerun (difficulty level medium) is something for adventurous water rats who want to test themselves and conquer the Adige river in their own boat. With action, fun and assertiveness, we master rapids, go around obstacles and relax on calm passages.

Accompanied by one of our qualified guides, the tour begins at our rafting base in Rabland/Rablà, where the equipment is handed out. With bag and baggage we go to Ciardes/Tschars. Arriving at the boat entrance, we unpack our packrafts (inflatable kayaks) and pump them up. As soon as all the kayaks are ready, there is an introduction to the paddling technique and a detailed safety briefing. Shortly after, we're off into some extraordinary, splashing water fun.

Together with a mountain guide, you'll climb this approximately 1-kilometre-long via ferrata, gaining 550 vertical metres and secured with 1,000 metres of steel cable. The route is of medium difficulty (A – B with short B/C sections) and ends with the spectacular rock formation known as the "Engelskante" ("Angel's Edge").

Who is the tour suitable for?
This tour is ideal for mountain lovers who are sure-footed, have no fear of heights, and are in good physical condition. Previous via ferrata experience is an advantage.

What to bring:
- Full via ferrata equipment (helmet, harness, via ferrata set – rental possible)
- Plenty of water (especially in warm weather – south-facing route!)
- A light snack
- Sun protection
- Trekking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing

Ascent:
From the Piffinger Köpfl mountain station, follow trail no. 3 to the junction with the Schartlweg (no. 18), then continue to the start of the via ferrata.

Descent:
We descend together via the Kuhleiten hut (refreshments available) and trail no. 19A. Depending on the weather and by agreement with the mountain guide, it may be possible to continue to the main summit.

Between open alpine pastures and impressive rock formations, the Latemar reveals a particularly unique side. A hike that pleasantly combines natural history, physical activity, and quiet places.

Tour description:
We start by taking bus line 186 to the Nigerstraße junction, where our hike begins. From there, we follow the trail across the wide Latemar meadows, known for their open alpine pastures and beautiful views. We then reach the famous Latemar Labyrinth, where the path winds its way through huge rock blocks left behind by a prehistoric landslide. After the labyrinth, we continue on to the Mitterleger and eventually reach Lake Mittersee, a seasonal forest lake that carries water depending on the time of year. From there, we descend to the Grand Hotel Carezza and return to Tiers by public bus.

This hike focuses on plants, flowers, animals and geology. The guide aims to draw attention to the small treasures along the trail, helping participants appreciate the beauty and value of nature. Only what we know can we recognize, appreciate and protect.

Nature is an interconnected system and the result of many interacting factors. It is beautiful and fascinating, but also complex and fragile. Therefore, the hike follows the motto: “Experience nature, understand it and preserve it.”

We will take the public bus from Nova Ponente (Gibitz Square) to Oclini, located between Corno Bianco and Corno Nero. From there our panoramic hike begins, leading towards Neuhütt hut and Petersberger Leger hut to Maria Pietralba, with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains such as Latemar and Catinaccio.
From Maria Weißenstein we return to Nova Ponente by bus. Those who wish can alternatively continue on foot back to Nova Ponente.

Sellaronda E-Bike, a panoramic and technically challenging mountain bike tour around the monumental Sella Group in the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites.
To complete the tour, adequate physical preparation is required to tackle some climbs and descents that require agility and experience.
The Clockwise Sellaronda E-Bike Tour involves relatively few meters of elevation gain thanks to the use of lifts that transport mountain bikes and e-bikes. There are numerous trails dedicated to descent, which require good technical preparation.
For this tour, the Supersummer Card is required (available at the first lift station), which allows us to use all seven lift systems.

The activity starts at the practice area with the Paganella Academy instructors: a short warm-up to get used to riding and using the brakes.

Right after, they set off on their mountain bikes into the heart of the forest. Map in hand, the group follows clues to spot the animals hiding among the trees and discover all their secrets.

An exploration through the scents and sounds of nature, learning to respect the environment and ride safely.

We organise a trip (one-way) to the neighbouring Val Gardena to Ortisei/St. Ulrich every Wednesday until the beginning of October.
Please note: this is exclusively a transfer service with bus line 333 - Antoniusplatz St. Ulrich. After arrival in Ortisei, everyone plans and organizes their day independently.
Tip: a self-guided hike back to Villnöss valley.

Hiking suggestions
TOUR 1: Ascent with the Seceda cable car until the middle station. From there walk on trail no. 5 leading to hut Brogles Alm (ca. 400 m height difference). Continue on the Adolf Munkel Trail until reaching the meadows of Gschnagenhardt (no. 35 & 34) and via the hut Dusleralm to Zans (no. 36). Alternatively, you can also descend from the hut Brogles Alm via trail no. 28 to Ranui.
Attention: Panascharte is closed!
TOUR 2: Ascent with the funicular Resciesa. From there via trail no. 35 to the hut Brogles Alm. Continue via the Adolf Munkel Trail to Zans (no. 35 & 6). lternatively, you can also descend from the hut Brogles Alm via trail no. 28 to Ranui.

Starting from the village centre of Spinges, you hike to the “Opera 24” bunker. Along the way, you will discover interesting facts about the Holy Sepulchre Chapel dating from 1685, the parish church with its small museum and life in the 18th century. You will also hear the story of the farmhouse where 400 people lost their lives. At the highest point, you will visit a bunker that once formed part of Mussolini’s Alpine Wall.

Afterwards, you can enjoy a picnic.
In bad weather, the hike is cancelled and you will drive to the bunker in your own car.

The Valle di Sella is an alpine valley side to Valsugana, is located at an altitude of 900 meters and is surrounded by mountains that touch or exceed 2000 meters (Pizzo di Levico, Cima Mandriolo, Cima Larici, Cima Dodici, Cima Portule). It is a particularly pleasant natural place and is home to the famous exhibition Arte Sella, international event and open air museum of contemporary art in nature (visit for fee). The tour is of medium difficulty and from Levico goes up the wild Vallone di Barco on steep road (geologically picturesque for the sedimentary rocks rich in fossils and particularly severe canyon type environment) to suddenly enter the pleasant Valley of Sella, rich in grasslands, huts and forests. The return offers 3 possibilities: the same ascent, a difficult single track downhill towards Levico or the return through the whole valley southwards to Borgo Valsugana with return to Levico by means of the beautiful cycle path at the bottom of the valley.

Gamberi – the water festival kicks off the Month of Taste, because every local delicacy stems from its most precious resource: water. In Comano, where the waters have always symbolised well-being and biodiversity, Gamberi celebrates the link between the environment and local flavours, reminding us that the quality of our food also depends on water.

On Sunday 13 September, from 11 am to 5 pm, the thermal park hosts "La Cucina di Gamberi" and stalls from Trentino producers for a day dedicated to regional specialities and sustainability. At 11 am, chef Andrea De Lillo will lead the workshop "Water quality from nature to the table", featuring low-impact cooking and tasting. For children, the programme includes the "Gioco del Gusto" (Game of Taste), a sensory trail showcasing local aromas and flavours. Throughout the festival week, several restaurants and bars in the Giudicarie Esteriori region will offer themed dishes focusing on flavour and environmental respect.

The festival blends various art forms and engages both the local community and visitors. It features book presentations, theatre, music and dance performances, citizen science activities, guided hikes, scientific conferences, and in-depth talks on water-related topics. The main hub will be in Ponte Arche, with activities taking place across the entire valley.

The Water Festival in Comano is a positive and constructive collaborative platform made up of 105 local, national, and international partners who established the event in 2023. It aims to create recreational and educational content to raise awareness about water, a resource that is as precious as it is undervalued. This year's official organisers are Pro Loco PA, Associazione Fare un Paese, Ecomuseo Judicaria, and La Fonte. The programme includes themed hikes, technical workshops, performances, cinema, music, children's activities, and discussions with high-profile guests, creating an innovative experience in the historic heart of Ponte Arche, at Piazza Mercato.

Would you like to try milking a cow? Come to the farm in Pera, just a short walk from the village!

When the cows moo, it is time to roll up your sleeves. At Agritur Agua Biencia in Pera, Claudia and Silvano open their stable doors to share their daily farm work. You can watch them milk the Grey Alpine cows and, if you like, try milking one yourself.

This fresh milk is used to make fresh and mature cheeses, butter, cream, and their signature Alp-yoghurt. These are prepared daily on-site and are available to buy directly from the farm shop.

The visit continues around the farm, where chickens, rabbits, goats, and other animals are waiting to meet you. For those who want to keep playing, the adventure continues on the farm go-kart track and in the play construction site, complete with remote-controlled trucks and excavators to drive.

The activity is free of charge, but booking is required and must be done ONLY via WhatsApp. It is open to children aged 3 and over, and runs from Tuesday to Friday.

How to get there
It is very easy! You can reach the farm by car, by bike, or on foot along the pleasant path that runs alongside the Avisio river from Pozza to Pera. Before or after the activity, treat yourself to a wholesome snack at the farm shop, or book a traditional dinner to end your day on a delicious note.

An enchanting and varied journey of discovery through the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park, accompanied by shimmering emerald-green waters, rushing streams and impressive Dolomite scenery.

After a short drive, we reach the charming Ladin mountain village of San Vigilio di Marebbe, the gateway to the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park. Our hike starts at the Nature Park Visitor Centre.

We begin by following part of the fascinating legends trail “Tru dles Liondes” along the rushing “Rio Dal Plan” stream. A short ascent takes us to the gentle “Tres la Val” hiking trail at the entrance to the Val dai Tamersc valley.

Along the almost level “Tru del Ega” water trail, we enjoy the peaceful flow and beautiful colours of the water. We reach the bubbling 40 springs “Les Fontanes” and then the picturesque, emerald-green Lé dla Créda lake at 1,268 m.

A quiet, easy and unmarked “secret” trail below the impressive rocky slopes of Monte Sella de Sennes leads us to Fodara Masaronn and the springs of the “Ega di San Vi”. Here, the striking rock towers known as the “Dudesc Apostui” – the Twelve Apostles welcome us as the impressive guardians of the valley.

From here, we explore the remaining section of the “Tru del Ega” along a pleasant trail until we reach the beautiful “Spiaggietta Ciamaor”, an idyllic recreation area directly beside the water. From here, it is only a short walk back to our starting point.

Tip: At the end of the hike, there is also the opportunity to visit the Nature Park Visitor Centre.

The historical farm hike starts in Kurzras (Maso Corto) and leads you down the valley to what were once the highest-altitude grain farms in the entire Alpine region, located at 1,973 m above sea level in Vernagt (Vernago). There, you can enjoy a relaxing break at the Finailhof farm, with a breathtaking view over the entire reservoir. The descent follows via the Raffein and Tisenhof farms down to Vernagt (Vernago). We recommend taking the bus to Kurzras (Maso Corto) and returning to your accommodation by bus after the hike. We set off together from the Schweiger Böden car park around two hours before sunrise. Herta Maria accompaniesus on the hike through the darkness into the new day. Through the woods and then across the meadows of the Lüsner Alm, the path leads us up to the summit of Campill (2,190 m). There, high above the hustle and bustle of everyday life and in the silence of the mountains, we experience the mystical moment when the sun rises behind the mountain peaks. On the way back, Herta Maria shares interesting facts about places of power and the power of herbs.

Adventurous hours await our visitors in the Llama Paradise in the Upper Martell Valley, the summer quarters of the National Park New World camelids. Here you can get to know these gentle, curious animals, get very close to them while petting, combing and feeding them and, if you wish, lead them yourself on a leash through the meadows and forests of the National Park during a short trekking walk after instruction in the obstacle course. Smaller children may lead a llama on a leash in the secured area. Indian feeling in the tipi tent is on top. Of course there will be enough time for photos and videos with our loving ‘long-necks’. Meeting a llama is an unforgettable experience for young and old.

Our trekking guide Florian - called Llamero in South America - welcomes you in the llama paradise and gives you an insight into the basics of llama keeping as well as the habits and characteristics of these friendly animals. After some exercises in the obstacle course, we will walk together with our llama boys Giacomo, Rocky, Rono, Rambo, Casper and Winnetou through the meadows and forests of the national park and you may let yourselves be touched by their calmness and good-naturedness while you lead them on the leash. Llamas are called the dolphins of the pasture and you will sense it. If desired (at an extra charge), the adults can relax in the llama paradise after the tour until the sausages are ready on the barbecue and the little ones can play archery and games in the Indian teepee. The llamas will watch you and continue to be close to you while snacking on their well-deserved reward. And of course, there will be enough time for photos and videos with our llama troop.

Costs: 30 euros/person, 85 euros per family, 20 euros per person who does not lead a llama during the trek, possibility of a barbecue (with sausage, bread and drink) after the tour in the llama enclosure - with surcharge depending on the number of participants.

The guided e-bike tour starts at the Rent and Go bike rental in Maiern, leads along the forest road over to the Steinhof. From the Valtigltal valley we go up to the mountain meadows of the rustic Joggelealm. We are rewarded by a magnificent view towards the Sterzing valley basin. We follow the trail to the Kerschbaumeralm (refreshment stop) and on to the Äußere Wurzeralm. Directly below the Mareiter Stein we begin our descent Back in the valley, the trail leads us along the old ore trail to the starting point in Maiern.

The authentic wine experience for all senses takes place in the newly created wing of the Cantina Kurtatsch. During the visit, you will gain fascinating insights into the importance of terroir, the variety of Kurtatsch’s vineyard sites, and its unique wines. The educational TERROIR Experience will lead you into the new dolomite barrique cellar with its natural rock wall and conclude with a tasting of 5 wines from our TERROIR line.

The Semirurali Social Park is a community project that revitalises the Parco delle Semirurali in Bolzano's Don Bosco neighbourhood, transforming it into a lively and inclusive meeting place for everyone. The project is coordinated by Cooperativa 19 and BeYoung, with the aim of giving a shared green space back to the neighbourhood and the city.

From May to October, the park hosts a wide range of free sports, cultural and social activities. Regular offerings include running groups and morning exercise sessions with UISP, basketball training with Basket Club Bolzano, and inclusive chess events with ASD ARCI Scacchi Bolzano. The programme also features one-off events such as the Südtirol Jazzfestival Alto Adige, open-air cinema, concerts, theatre, workshops and community dialogue formats.

Some events are part of the Stagione Estiva Don Bosco 2026, organised by Cooperativa 19 with the support of the Italian Culture Office of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano.

Transart26 opens its edition with CRASH, an evening devoted to sound and audiovisual research, presented in collaboration with the Haydn Foundation of Bolzano and Trento. In Italian premieres, two works challenge the conventions of the traditional concert: Piano Concerto by Simon Steen-Andersen and Gotham by Michael Gordon and Bill Morrison, both performed by the Haydn Orchestra conducted by Vimbayi Kaziboni.

Piano Concerto (Simon Steen-Andersen)

Piano Concerto (2014) by Danish composer Simon Steen-Andersen weaves live performance, video and sound research into a radically experimental work. Pianist Ning Yu plays an intact, tuned instrument, while on screen a second performer engages with the remains of a piano dropped eight metres onto a concrete floor. The digital counterpart is Nicholas Hodges — a key figure in contemporary piano performance who premiered the work at Donaueschingen in 2014 — in a "double concerto" that sets the precision of the undamaged instrument against the shattered material of the "wounded" piano. The orchestra absorbs and amplifies this energy, shaping it into a dense, precise score that expands the event through space and time.

Gotham (Michael Gordon and Bill Morrison)

Gotham presents early twentieth-century New York through the collaboration of composer Michael Gordon and filmmaker Bill Morrison. Archival footage of a city in transformation — construction sites, smoke-filled skylines, lifts gliding between skyscrapers, and sudden pastoral scenes such as a flock of sheep in Central Park — merges with an orchestral score that grows and shifts, at times fragile, at times overwhelming. Gotham does not romanticise the city; instead it captures its dust, noise and relentless rhythm in an immersive experience of memory, movement and wonder.

The Kinderfestival returns to Bolzano for four days of street theatre, music, creative workshops and family entertainment. The event takes place in the garden of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Bolzano and along the Talvera riverside promenade (Via Talvera 18, Bolzano), with two additional venues: the Civic Library at Via Museo 47 and the courtyard of the Free University of Bolzano (Piazza Università).

More than 25 activity stations bring the festival to life for all ages. Regular daily features include magic shows with Peter Orlando/Mago Paladino, the Kasperl puppet theatre, creative workshops, children's book readings by Effekt Verlag, Family Freespace, geocaching with Lucy powered by Alperia, a carousel, a trampoline and pony rides (the latter two for a fee). El Grito's contemporary circus performs under a big top with Teatro Cristallo, accessible with a 2 € contribution.

Each day brings a different programme to the main courtyard, with rotating artists and companies. Full daily schedules are available at kinderfestival.it.

New this year: the exhibition "Gentilezza" created with the A.-Langer School, organised by PLUS ART in collaboration with Teatro Cristallo, and the new Pensplan Centrum station.

In this workshop, participants will discover the fascinating process of an orchid's birth and learn step by step what the real needs of these special plants are.

The Franz Gojer winery is a small family business whose history begins in the heart of the traditional St. Magdalen wine-growing area on the northern sides of Bolzano. In 2007, the family bought a second farm in Karneid in order to also offer white wine in the assortment. Every Thursday we walk from Linzbach towards the village center of Oberbozen with our well-behaved llamas and alpacas at our side. We cross the village and then descend along the ancient Roman path to the famous Ritten earth pyramids. Once there, we give our animals and ourselves a little breather, during which you can read about the history of the earth pyramids on the notice board, take photos or simply enjoy the peace and quiet. After the short break, we climb back up the ancient Roman path. Once we arrive in the village at the cable car station, we make another short stop and those who wish can treat themselves to an ice cream or refreshment at Cafe Fink. Strengthened, we then start the rest of the way back to the pasture of our llama and alpaca stallions.
Note: If the minimum number of participants is not reached, we reserve the right to convert this tour into a shorter trek. Alternatively, the small group can decide to pay a surcharge and do the tour in a smaller group.

The route is suitable for hikers with good footing and no fear of heights, as there are no exposed sections or steep drops.
Along the way, impressive views open up of the Rosengarten | Cantinaccio massif, the Schlern | Sciliar and the well-known “Doll Procession” of the Latemar. The legends and stories told by hiking guide Helga Egger bring the landscape vividly to life. Climbing a series of rock steps, the group reaches the so-called Dwarf Gate, marking the exit from the fascinating maze of rocks. The trail then continues through a shady high-altitude forest to a quiet, sunlit meadow with a small stream. Here there is time for a relaxing break, where the packed lunch tastes especially good and the legend of the Latemar dolls finds its perfect setting.
The return route leads to Lake Carezza, where the waiting time for the bus can be spent in a relaxed way. Those who would like to continue walking can alternatively descend to the village on foot via trail number 10.
